In my opinion it is the most raw, vulnerable, and emotional part of soul care.
When I first heard about reconnecting and healing your inner child, I shrugged it off as something that was imaginary and I was highly skeptical. I did not take it seriously until finally I dove in deep. In my opinion it is the most raw, vulnerable and emotional part of soul care.
When focusing on healing your inner child and the relationship you have with your inner child it is important with all aspects of self-work you are able to find a quiet space.
Here are some resources that I personally have found helpful:
* "The Journey of Abandonment to Healing" by Susan Anderson
* "The Emotionally Absent Mother" by Jasmin Lee Cori
* Leeanne Payne healing prayer
You will know when you are ready to tackle on the task of meeting your inner child and partnering with the God of love to heal and restore him/her and your relationship.
Many times this is where a lot of our triggers and patterns arise as adults.
For me personally it took a while for my inner child to come near me or trust me. That is how damaged and abandoned I felt as a little girl. I ended up trusting no one-including myself.
